Mzima Networks Expands Its East Coast Network with a POP at tel^x

New York City, NY , June 13, 2007 - Mzima Networks, a U.S. based leading next-generation Network Service Provider, announced today that it has deployed a backbone Point of Presence (POP) in the tel^x Meet Me Room at 60 Hudson Street. This adds to their existing facility at the 111 Eighth Avenue tel^x Meet Me Room in New York, enhancing the efficiency and reach of their nationwide network and, in particular, supporting their expanding East Coast network.

Mzima is currently providing IP Transit connectivity and data transport services from premier colocation facilities in the US and Europe. By utilizing an all-optical meshed backbone that is connected to multiple Tier-1 backbone providers, Mzima enhances the efficiency of its nationwide network by directly peering with numerous broadband ISPs, backbones and content providers. The range of network services includes full line- rate 10 GbE route-optimized IP Transit, Ethernet Private Lines, SONET Private Lines, and Metro Ethernet and Wavelength Transport from all locations across their international backbone.

By choosing the interconnection space at 60 Hudson street with tel^x, Mzima will be located in the two most connected neutral facilities in New York City. The tel^x facilities offer access to an abundance of carriers, ISPs, content providers and other global network service providers and enterprise networks. This will allow Mzima to better serve their customers, who need cost-effective and efficient connectivity in order to achieve the global presence necessary to accelerate their business.
